Simply double tap the opinion, and you’ll see the icon change color to signify your opinion.

How can I tell the difference between a blog pip and a photo or video pip?

All blog pips (those that are auto-imported from a blog’s RSS feed) have a thin blue stripe underneath. Sometimes they will also appear full-width.

I know this is an iPhone app, but I am an Android user. Will you be adding an Android version?

We’re sorry to say Pippit isn’t available on Android currently. We hope to make it available in the future so that everyone can enjoy all of Pippit’s great features and content.

Does it work for iPad?

While Pippit is an iPhone app, you can download Pippit on an iPad. The search has to be changed so it isn’t just looking for iPad apps though. This is in the top left side of the screen when searching. Pippit is not optimized for iPad.

Are you planning to make an extension of the app for the desktop?

Since we have just launched, we are focusing on making the current iPhone app the best it can be. Then, we can focus on other versions of the app.

Why isn’t this app free?

We’ve chosen a small, up-front, and transparent fee so we can ensure there is NO ADVERTISING ON OR OFF THE APP.

How does the subscription work? What happens at the end of the first year when the subscription expires?

Pippit is a paid app with an non-renewing subscription. The subscription for the first year is included with the app purchase. We’ve chosen a small, up-front, and transparent fee so we can ensure there is no advertising on or off the app.

If I sync Pippit to my Twitter account after logging in, what twitter profile does Pippit choose to sync with?

Your iPhone Settings stores your Twitter username or usernames in the order in which you use them on your iPhone. You can see the list by going to your phone’s Settings and clicking on “Twitter.” Pippit is set to automatically sync with the last username on the list, which the last one that your signed in with on your iPhone.

Why does the app take so long to refresh sometimes?

One of the great things about Pippit is all the great content it presents to you. All those images and blog posts and the information that comes with them takes up a lot of space. If you’re like us, then you might have a hundred apps open at once and no more room on your phone because you take lots of photos and videos with your iPhone. If there isn’t any room on your iPhone, then Pippit may not be able to bring in all the great photo, video, and blog “pips” on the app to your own phone. A poor network connection (no cell signal or wifi) may also prevent the app from refreshing.

Why do I get an error message when I try to find and invite friends by using “My Contacts?”

In order for Pippit to access your contacts, it must be granted permission in your iPhone settings.  Please follow these steps:

Go to your iPhone’s Settings—> select Privacy—> select Contacts—> find Pippit and toggle the button to the “on” status, which is green.
